Motor Carrier Permits

As a first step towards the changeover from the California P.U.C. to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), the DMV has announced plans to mail out approximately 40,000 Motor Carrier Permit renewal applications to existing carriers on March 25, 1997. These applications will be sent to both private and for hire carriers. All carriers will be required to complete the renewal application and send it in with the appropriate fees to the DMV in Sacramento.
