To better describe the services that we offer to our customers we are changing our name to Cal State Xpress. We first started operations in 1986 and over the years we have grown from a local, Los Angeles based carrier to a statewide carrier. L.A. Xpress / Cal State Xpress currently provides statewide LTL and Truckload services, Drayage from the rail ramps and ports in addition to Consolidations and Distribution services to all points in the State of California.

We have terminals located in Oakland, Fresno, San Diego and South Gate. Our executive offices are located at our South Gate terminal.

In March of this year we set a new company record for the number of shipments handled in a single month with 12,225 shipments and an on time delivery of 97%. Our goal is to continue to improve this percentage through our ISO 9002 process. Our commitment is to provide Quality Transportation Services through continued training and innovation. Our goal is to be the leading provider of Quality Transportation Services in California. We feel that we are heading towards a profitable and prosperous new millennium.

We thank all of our customers for their continued business and support. The process of changing our name will take some time, so you will be seeing both L.A. Xpress and Cal State Xpress over the next few months. Our name has changed, but our commitment to Quality Service is the same.
